Two Words To Better UX

Two Words To Better UX

Like many people, I'm diving into the world of AI. I've spent plenty of time as a designer, a design leader, and even an entrepreneur / small business owner.

I've got design down. Picked up plenty of business skills. Wrapping my head around marketing.

But haven't gotten to coding yet.

Until know.

Small UX, Big Impact

I've been testing a number of tools - Loveable being one of them.

I managed to get a few prototypes going, but life took over for a bit. Travel and other responsibilities side tracked me.

I came back to Loveable to pick up where I left off and to my delight they let me know what I used to last login.

With so many logins and ways to sign up I get lost and forget what I used before. So I love and appreciate that Loveable makes it easy for me to remember how to log in.

Think Less, Do More

Think Less, Do More is one of the pillars in PIllars & Pokes. It's about easing the mental burden on the user.

That's what we see here: Loveable knows

  1. I have a decision to make
  2. I have to remember what I used last time to make that decisions
  3. What I used last time to login

So, instead of sitting there watching me struggle to remember what I used last time, it - like good software does - tells me.

It's small UX addition. A couple words. But it smooths out the UX so much and solves a common problem.

Help Your Users

Identify areas in your software where you're asking the user to remember something your software already does. Or do calculations that your tool can already do.

Those are great spots to level up your UX. And sometimes it just takes a couple words.
